The idea for the solid wood element came about in the spring of 2019 from the desire and need to build a non-toxic, clean and sustainable home from wood. Now Raikas EKO Oy designs and develops a solid wood element made from by-products of the sawmill industry. The project is progressing as planed and the solid wood element is clean, non-toxic, and made of a single material.
Partners in the project are: Kalajoki Regional Business Service Center, Engineering Office Tero Lahtela, Xamk Savonlinna, Stressfield, and the ELY Centre.
