A new life for wood – sustainable solutions for construction.
Solid wood elements that withstand time and climate.
Innovative timber construction – safely and precisely.
The project aims to develop a solid wood element concept utilizing sawmill by-products, recycled timber, and waste wood. Currently, no solid wood element made from these raw materials is available in Finland or on the global market. Preliminary market testing indicates strong interest in such a product. The goal of this project is to develop a production line and a production concept for solid wood elements.
The company was founded for this development work and the subsequent production. Its operating principle is ecological and supports sustainable development.
A facility must be leased and production line established for manufacturing. The production premises and line require the necessary tools and accessories to ensure efficiency and suitability for purpose. A complete production process will be established, covering everything from planning and management to material procurement and final product. A production management system must be acquired to support operations. Workforce resourcing will be aligned with the different stages of production.
The production line and pilot project will be completed during the second year. During the pilot project, the production system will be refined toward its final version. The long-term outcome will be nationwide recognition, achieved by the end of the second year.
At the conclusion of the project, a solid wood element concept will be ready—ecological, resilient, and utilizing sawmill by-products, recycled materials, and damaged wood. A marketing plan and sales organization will be in place, scalable as operations grow. The concept will be marketable throughout Finland, with readiness to expand into international markets. By the end of the project, suitable facilities and production lines will be established to meet market demands.
